In collaboration with fellow product designer Yvette Rosado, we designed a marble shower tray for the "Young Talents" Saltoki Home II Design Contest, in partnership with Marmolatek.

SOBRE AGUA reimagines the shower as a moment of pause and reconnection with nature. The piece draws from the fleeting moment a drop of water meets a still pond, the concentric ripples that follow become a metaphor for presence, pause, and quiet awareness.

A sculpted channel guides the water's flow around the user, echoing that same sense of cylindrical movement, while a hidden marble cover conceals the drain for a cleaner, more versatile finish. Cast in Indian Green marble, the tray evokes the palette of still water and offers striking contrast against the pale, neutral tones typical of most shower spaces.

Conceived especially for bathrooms open to the landscape, the design turns an everyday ritual into a moment of presence, stillness and connection with the outdoors.
